Mr. Philip Jeffrey, CPA

President & CEO:

I am a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a passion for taxation, financial accuracy, strategic planning, and business growth. With 23 years of experience in the field, I have helped individuals and businesses navigate taxation and complex financial landscapes, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and profitability.

Born and raised in Georgetown, Guyana, I discovered a love for numbers and problem-solving early in life. Thus, it was always my dream to work for a fortune 500 company and later develop my own business which will be based on the knowledge I obtained in the corporate world. After earning a degree in Accounting/Finance from Baruch College (2001) in New York, I subsequently pursued the CPA certification, to further demonstrate my in-dept knowledge of accounting principles and commitment to excellence in the accounting profession. This, I completed in 2003.

During my career, I have worked with fortune 500 companies at the corporate level. These include Citi Group (Headquarters for Citibank and all the other financial subsidiaries), Cantor Fitzgerald and Time Warner Corp (Headquarters for CNN, TWC Cable; TWC Center; and many of its subsidiaries), to mention a few. I attended senior leadership meetings which provided me insight into proper planning and execution of various corporate measures to drive efficiencies. Thus, my ability to translate intricate financial data into clear strategies has made me a trusted advisor for clients seeking long-term success.

Beyond my professional expertise, I am also passionate about enlightenment for minority youths. Thus, I engage myself with volunteer work, teaching, mentorship, or community programs for the youths. With financial literacy youths can make better financial decisions regarding their future.

When not immersed in numbers and spreadsheets, I enjoy playing soccer, cricket and basketball.

With a steadfast dedication to integrity and precision, I continue to set the standard for excellence in the accounting/taxation/finance world, helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals

As General Manager of Double J Services NYC, Joel represents the next generation of leadership within a legacy built on precision, discretion, and financial excellence. Continuing the vision established by his father, Joel brings a refined approach to modern accounting and tax strategy—serving clients who expect not just service, but sophistication.

A graduate of Medgar Evers College, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting in 2014, Joel further advanced his expertise with a Master’s degree from DeVry University. As an IRS Certified Agent with over a decade of experience in accounting and taxation, he operates with a deep understanding of both foundational principles and complex financial landscapes.

Distinguished by his meticulous attention to detail and elevated client experience, Joel is known for transforming intricate tax matters into clear, strategic insights. His communication style is intentional and refined—ensuring that every client, regardless of complexity, feels informed, confident, and in control.

Joyann holds a Master's Degree in Journalism from Columbia University. She’s worked with major media powerhouses, such as ABC News, NBC News, and The TODAY Show. There, she developed a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and working in high-pressure situations.

Known for her precision, organization, and client-first approach, Joyann ensures the firm’s operations run seamlessly while delivering an elevated experience for every client.
